IPC Connections Correction

Correction for the June 2013 Connections issue:

All People's Prayer Assembly 2013 Gathering, September 18-25, 2013

The dates for our 3rd ALL PEOPLES PRAYER ASSEMBLY (APPA) are 18-25 Sept 2013. We actually start on the evening of the 18th Sept, and these dates are the same dates for Sukkot or Feast of Tabernacles for 2013. Our main prayer need is still finding a venue along the East Coast of the USA. The event will be in Pennsylvania.…

Will those who come behind you "Find You Faithful"?

http://www.grandparentingwithapurpose.comI am sure you have noticed that I have a passion for praying for my grandchildren in my writings in my blog and Face book postings. I recognize the critical moral and spiritual climate our grandchildren must navigate in a world hostile to truth. Our grandchildren are growing up in a world that is not friendly to our faith in God. However, I feel God has given grandparents a sacred…

Ten Basic Rules To Safeguard Your Victory!

As we witness prophetic events unfolding daily, we can attest without question, that the Church is in the last of the last days, the final hours before Christ returns for His spotless Bride. If there was ever a time when we, as Christians, need to safeguard our victory in Christ, it is today. The apostle Paul gives us the secret of securing our salvation in 1 Corinthians 9:27,…

Dutch Sheets: Praying for America

Dutch Sheets: Praying for America

Praying For Our Nation
"Our message (to the world) should be of grace and truth," explains Dutch. This message however need not leave out the consequences of sin, but as it is shared, it must be laced with hope and mercy. Dutch reminds us that the heart of our message should be, Return to Me and I will return to you (Mal. 3:7).
And rather than have a harsh, judgmental…

5 Summer-Time Prayer Action Steps

•5 Summer-Time Prayer Action Steps
  1. Family Table ~ Ask every family to take at least one family meal each week to pray for their neighbors (who live nearby, people they work with, fellow students ...) AND to keep a log of the names and the needs the Lord leads them to pray for. During a Sunday morning service in August, ask families to  come prepared to share…

New Covenant Praying By Eddie Smith

“God wants to perform in ways beyond our expectation. His desire is to respond ‘exceedingly above all that we can ask (pray) or think (imagine).' So, if we can imagine it, or ask it, it’s likely too small!”    …

Harvest-Field Praying

I’ve often wondered what prompted the disciples of Jesus to ask Him to teach them to pray (Luke 11:1). Many things happened between their call to follow Him and their request to be taught prayer. According to Luke, just one chapter prior to their request, Jesus described the harvest as “great” and the laborers as “few” and then told them to pray (Luke 10:2). Since He was sending seventy of them into the harvest, two-by-two, they might have been surprised that prayer was included in His…

In the 1950s, missionaries working with Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) USA and Australia brought the Gospel to the central highlands of the then Dutch New Guinea (the western part of the island of New Guinea). Since then, Indonesia has invaded, occupied, annexed, Islamised, militarised and colonised the region.…

Mystics in an Age of Metadata

On the surface, it would seem that God’s words in Hosea 4:6 are no longer true. Can we really say today that people are “destroyed for lack of knowledge”?

Let’s take a closer look…

At first glance, it might seem that the very opposite of Hosea 4:6 is true today. Instead of being destroyed because of our LACK of knowledge, our culture is literally drowning in it. We’ve even had to coin an entirely new term for this: “metadata,” which…

A Steadfast Spirit in Prayer

"In warfare and seasons of trouble, there is a quality of suffering and perseverance that actually births in us a greater anointing to work the works of God. God actually trusts us because He trusts what He sees of suffering inside our heart and life. We cannot build anything without suffering... Good leadership knows how to suffer; they know about patience and perseverance to stand their ground."

God is looking throughout the earth, and…

Marriage and Families The Devestation of Separation

Marriages and Families are suffering at an all time high as a result of divorces. I would like your input on the needs and resolutions on how we can improve marital relationships and the devastating effect it has on children, our community and our nation. It is time for change and we can do it together.

The Iranian-backed, Lebanese Shi'ite terrorist organisation, Hezballah, has officially entered the Syrian conflict. In a televised speech on 25 May, Hezballah leader Hassan Nasrallah wooed Sunni Arabs by provocatively, strategically and typically framing the conflict as a struggle between the 'Western Zionist agenda' and the Syrian 'resistance'…

God's Masterpiece

“You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue
you, Lord, know it completely. You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain” (Psalm 139:1-6).

Our identity as humans is under fire.…
