A Community of Prayer Champions, Praying Churches, Prayed-for Communities

What would happen if people all over our nation and the world started singing when they prayed—especially for what is happening in the USA elections?   See 2 Chronicles chapter 20, and in that chapter note the following verses:  2 Chronicles 20:21-22 (KJV) “21And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever. 22  And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.”

May it be spontaneous and start with some old wonderful foundational Hymns.  Encourage people to sing it in their own language—wherever they are.  Use praise songs too.  Let the prayer time be a time of singing!

Such singing could be the start of REVIVAL!!!!!

Sing our prayers. Pray our songs!

I appreciate people willing to consider singing as intercession for our Country.  I urge you to read this prayer and sing a song of praise in our prayer time to the Lord.  (no one has to hear you--but the voice from your heart is beautiful to our Lord!!!!)

Father,  May the presence of your love restore America to singing once again.  May that love reach across the divide in our country bringing people together, regardless of political party affiliation or church denomination and turn our hearts to Jesus.  May your love direct us to action—not the political party.  May we yield to you and as we do, begin to sing once again as a Nation honoring Biblical principles and as a church in unity honoring Jesus.—In Jesus Name, Amen.

Bless the Lord!
