Dear friends who have faithfully prayed for us and the Maasai of Tanzania. It is with mixed emotions that I share with you that our time of working among the Maasai is coming to a close.

In August of this year our mission organization announced a shortfall in funds that necessitates a cutback of mission personnel worldwide. They have offered a voluntary retirement incentive to those over 50 with 5 or more years of experience. After much prayer we feel God has lead us to take it and move our ministry back to the USA. As of Dec. 1 we will no longer be serving overseas. Your prayers as we transition back to America and seek where God would have us serve is much appreciated. Blessings, Pam Johnon

Pray for the Longido Bible school that starts today after years of not being held. Praise the Lord for the leaders taking up the mantle.

Thank you for praying for the OFBC team in January. God really worked and we had over 50 attend each day for discipleship. It was a real blessing to have a group of young men who came faithfully.

We, Dan and I, found out on the 4th night out that Dan's father suffered a massive stroke. The team decided that it was best to cut our time in Ngaresero short so that we could return home and make preparations to head to the states to be with Dan's mom. (We are in the states now but will be returning to Tanzania on the 17th.)

Even in this seemingly bad situation God was at work. The team was able to do some work without us there and were blessed by what God was doing. We serve an awesome God that has everything under control even when we don't know what is going on.

Guide this volunteer team from OFBC in their preparation.  May they have freedom to share the gospel and help in discipleship classes among the Massai in Tanzania.  Watch over them and protect them.  In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Please start praying now for the volunteer team from OFBC as they are in the final stages of preparation to head to Tanzania on Jan. 12th. Be praying that God will lead those that need to be in the discipleship classes to come and that He will prepare the hearts of those who will hear the gospel for the very first time.

As we come to the end of 2014 I want to thank each and every one of you who has prayed for our work among the Maasai of Tanzania. We saw God do amazing things this year and I know it was because of your prayers. Please enlist others to join our group so we can have more pray-ers for 2015. Blessings to all of you and a very Merry Christmas.
