Agree / Disagree?

"Prayer works!" might be a catchy bumper sticker phrase but in reality, if the act of praying is the source of people being helped, healed or given hope, then it is more magic than authentic conversation with God.

Prayer came out of a relationship with God.The more you make time for Him the more He reveal Himself to you. Therefor prayer works because it was born out of Fathers heart'

The Holy Spirit brings us into the presence of the Father. “For through him we have access to the Father by the one Spirit” (Eph. 2:18). Prayer works because the Spirit helps us to pray (Rom 8:26). Indeed, all prayer “in the Spirit” is prayer initiated by the Holy Spirit… the Spirit gives the burden to pray….the Spirit gives the words to express the burden in prayer…with the mind or with the Spirit (1 Cor. 12:14-15) or with sighs (Rom 8:26)….And the Spirit gives us the faith to trust God for the outcome of the prayer burden.

Prayer is very personal as is any relationship that is borne in love!
Psalm 65:2 "O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come". (Psalms 65:2 KJV) I am just set to read "How to develop a powerful prayer life" by Gregory R Frizzel. I trust I will learn much more from The Lord.

Yes, by all means Prayer Works, if you are a born again believing Christian and your prayer lines up with God's will, and you are praying in the name of Jesus (in your heart if not verbally)
