A Community of Prayer Champions, Praying Churches, Prayed-for Communities
Deborah, the woman Hagar of the Old Testament is one of the women that inspired me most in my life, due to her encounter with God. He sees me [each one of us] as He saw and rescued even a slave woman alone in the desert, where she gave Him a new name - 'the God Who sees me'.
Gen 16:13, 14 NLT Thereafter, Hagar used another name to refer to the LORD, who had spoken to her. She said, “You are the God who sees me.” She also said, “Have I truly seen the One who sees me?” So that well was named Beer-lahai-roi (which means “well of the Living One who sees me”). It can still be found between Kadesh and Bered.
What a blessing.
