A prayer gathering for corporate healing

On Thu, Sep 19, 2019 at 11:53 AM:Men,I'm witing to a few who are men of prayer and have provided great resources for prayer. I just got off the phone with a pastor who is facing major conflict. This is the second time in three months. His first pastorate, he has made some rookie mistakes. I'm not sure he can survive. However, he has agreed to see what a concentrated prayer effort can do to at least launch a healing process for the church, whether or not he stays. My ask — do you have an outline…See More

Exclusive Excerpt: Invitation to Retreat: The Gift & Necessity of Time Away with God

It is impossible to overstate the level of exhaustion many of us are experiencing these days and how dangerous it is. Christian busyness layered on top of the stresses of life in our culture, along with the more subtle sources of exhaustion that are harder to identify, means we are all at risk of drifting into dangerous levels of exhaustion before we even know it!There are reasons why we…See More

God’s “Name”

This is a personal opinion of mine; and I am NOT a Hebrew language scholar!       When Moses asks God to reveal God’s name, God says (paraphrase): “I AM.” In space-time past, I AM; in your present moment in space-time, I AM; in space-time future,I AM.        Self-existing. Inescapable. Wholly and holy other.Unfathomable.       In my humble opinion, God is not revealing a name but is directing us to recognize the core ‘DNA’ of all his names and attributes. God always IS; alive, life-giving,…See More

Thanks so much Phil,

I've read the Verses and Scriptures and they have been great for me.

I written them down and allowing them to sink in and I'm repeating them and speaking them out aloud and I really do feel better and inspired.

Hello Dave,

I am blessed by your humility and realization that the Lord is the point of all we do here on Pray.Network ... but it is also a blessing to see the Spirit of the Lord work through faithful, yielded leaders. In other words, it is not merely the content of the comments you make or ideas you share but the life-well-lived in obedience that also teaches and trains us. Like our sister site Discipleship.Network, we can disciple one another even through social media!

I welcome feedback from you and others who read this,

Is it helpful to give the name of the person who started a group? I am uncomfortable with my name listed every time someone posts on Shaking The World Through The Printed Word. I am not the point of the site.

In public and private, in sanctuary and home, may my life be steeped in prayer, filled with the spirit of grace and supplication, each prayer perfumed with the incense of atoning blood Help me, defend me, until from praying ground I pass to the realm of unceasing praise.
