If you have a heart to pray for the UNENGAGED UNREACHED & for the completion of the Great Commission, I would love to link with you. I work with a network called International Orality Network. Sharing the Gospel through culturally relevant means for any people group. What does that mean?! It means that we link with others who are looking for ways to present the Gospel in a way that will allow it to be heard...really heard. Send me an email at: IONPrayer@gmail.com
Did you know that there are 4.35 billion oral learners across the globe? That number represents those who can't, don't or won't read and write. The term primary oral learner can't read or write, their culture is oral and their frame work is oral rather than literate, so therefore they primarily or exclusively learn by oral means. The term secondary oral learner is for those who don't or won't read, but who prefer to learn by a means other than reading, such as audio or visual communications (multimedia). In some developing countries people are moving directly from primary orality to secondary orality without passsing through an orientation to print. In the Western world, the secondary oral learner gains their information by visual, media or audio format.
The term "storying" is an attempt to make a strong statement about the value of the intact, uninterrupted Bible narrative as a valuable means of teaching God's Word leading to salvation, church planting, discipleship or leader training. Storying is not limited to teaching non-literates. It is used because it is reproducible by listeners and because the use of story helps to overcome resistence or hostility to traditional means of teaching God's Word.
God is at work in using the internet to bring thousands to the Lord each day.
If you go to the following link you can view LIVE and pray for people visiting the 103 Great Commission Partners Websites that Global Media Outreach links with. Go to: www.GreatCommission2020.org
If you can take some time, it is really really spectacular to watch as people go onto the individual sites, then if you will begin to PRAY for them as the Gospel is presented... you can see the screen change as they accept the Lord!
You may or may not be aware, but two very important days are coming up for your Prayer Calendar!
