Lord, please bring peace to Lewis who poured out his heart and love to You in writing this book about Your Names. Thank You that this book has been a blessing to me so far, although I haven't finished reading it yet. Your Names teach us so much about You and strengthen us for each daily battle. We pray that You will be glorified through this book and through Your Names. We pray for Your guidance and protection and that there will be much fruit for Your Kingdom, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Thank You, amen.

An item has come up that I would appreciate your prayer on my behalf that God will both guide me and protect me.
I just/recently published a book that researched Hebrew letters and used them to determine the meanings of Names of God in the Old Testament. This book is titled “31 Names of God” and is available on Amazon. I shared my work with my pastor, who did not want to look at the work until it was finished–uhm?? I was hoping for his input before going to the publisher. This book has had both three editors and comments by other Christian leaders. It took 6 years of detailed research, prayer, much research, more prayer for wisdom, much prayer for God’s wisdom, and that cycle continued for a long time to bring this study together in a way that could be understood.
Now, my pastor wants me to meet with the elders about it. He has not talked with me personally about any of his concerns. I say again–he has not talked with me – personally before asking for this meeting, and it leaves me to wondering if this meeting could be a time to criticize this work in front of others–the elders of my church–(some people in academia do not accept the method that I used, or he may not like the conclusions that I come to–I just do not know. I will add that all the conclusions reinforce traditional Biblical viewpoints.)
It is possible that this meeting could be intended for complimenting about this work, but he has not come to me to say ‘I would like to share this good work with the elders.’
So—those actions of not directly communicating leave me perplexed. Because of that, it calls for much prayer on my part.
I am using scripture to encourage myself, including the Aaronic Blessing. I have been encouraged by the explanation of the Hebrew by some well-studied Messianic Jews. It seems though that the more I pray, that more problems develop, and could overwhelm me. Psalmist in Ps 77: 11-14 is a reminder to me that God will both accomplish His Word, and will protect us.
I would ask that God’s love be poured out on the meeting and that His love would quiet any negative issues. Zephaniah 3:17 “…He will bring you quietness with His Love…” HCSB
We intercessors face much spiritual warfare personally, and this situation has the potential of being a battle or attack. It also may not be either, but could be something positive. I do not know which it is at this time, so I ask for prayer over this meeting which will be on Monday Oct 14, 2109 at 7:45 Eastern Daylight Time.
I appreciate all willing to take this matter to the Lord.

Also, much of my work in the development of this work can be found in the group on Names of God.

Hi everyone. I am still busy with my essay. I  need to give attention to a few final things. Please pray for God's grace and guidance. I also have to start slowly with exam preparations, although there is still time left and I have a second assignment coming up. However it is a lot of work and I want to do well. Thank you! God bless...

I know we pray for the First Family regularly, but according to two news organizations, there is yet another threat - this time especially against the youngest son, Barron - who is only 11 years old.
As a mother and grandmother, I am just speechless that there are people who would call for the assassination of a young child. Even if this is fake news, there may be people who are insane enough to take this seriously.
May God protect our government and their families.

Psalm 121 NIV

1I lift up my eyes to the mountains—

where does my help come from?

2My help comes from the Lord,

the Maker of heaven and earth.

3He will not let your foot slip—

he who watches over you will not slumber;

4indeed, he who watches over Israel

will neither slumber nor sleep.

5The Lord watches over you—

the Lord is your shade at your right hand;

6the sun will not harm you by day,

nor the moon by night.

7The Lord will keep you from all harm—

he will watch over your life;

8the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

I ask for prayer.  Yesterday, I spent some time in a Hospital Emergency Room due to extreme vertigo.  Another issue was seen but did not last, and in follow up to that issue I am seeing my cardiologist today.  I expect to be having a few other doctor visits after this episode.  The hospital gave me some medicine commonly used for motion sickness.  My daughter who is a nurse told me that it is a common medicine used for inner ear issues--which can cause vertigo.  Inner ear issues affect balance.  I have had some sinus issues and with the pollen increasing as spring progresses, that could be an issue.                            -- I am much better today--but do appreciate your prayer for me for wisdom to prevent and for wisdom for the doctors in follow-up.  Thank you.

May the Lord stand near your son-in-law and help him stand firm in all the will of God, mature, fully confident (Colossians 4:12)

Dear Lord God, You are El Elyon, the Most High. You are Yahweh Jireh, the God Who provides. You are Lagai Roi, the God Who sees. We pray for Lewis and his family, and others who need this prayer too. Please help! In the Name of Lord Jesus Christ, we pray, amen.

This next week, a close family member, faces possible loosing his job.  I am not sure of the details--but I do know he is careful in his work.

I ask for you all to pray for him and my daughter--his wife.  I am not sure when they will be meeting to discuss or take action, but I do know we have a God who cares about him and his family.  Such an action could also cause him to lose his retirement pension--not just his job.  He was been with his department--maintenance keeping school busses running for 16 years--working for the Board of Education Frederick County, Maryland.

I do not know when I will get more news, they did not tell me directly.  We learned from another family what is happening--and learned that tonight.

In the past, I have personally experienced some rough situations that the Lord brought me through when I prayed.  May the Lord our God give my son-in-law wisdom and may our Lord have control of this situation.  May our Lord's presence be with close relative.

Thank you for praying,
