Glad to hear about your being able to develop a prayer team in your church. A great way to use our calling to be an intercessor. May the Lord bless and protect you as you move forward.

Being new here, I thought I'd introduce myself by letting everyone know a lady at my church and I recently started as co-leaders of a Prayer Team. We are having monthly prayer focuses (April is on Families) and have met with church leaders/committee chairs about our plans for the Prayer Team. This is very exciting for Rosella and me.

It is tentatively scheduled for 10:30 AM at our local Rescue Mission on April 14. I do not know at this time how many will be in attendance, and hopefully will have some idea soon so I can be prepared.

The Lord is moving. Praise His Holy Name.

Lewis, what time is your meeting on the 7th?

Lewis, I just prayed for you! I will pray as the Spirit leads!
May God anoint you to accomplish His will in your region!

I have a meeting coming up next week on April 7-- where I will be sharing ideas and concepts on reaching the region where I live for Christ. It involves much prayer and action. I need wisdom in sharing the concept of how churches can come together in prayer, seek God's plan for reaching the community, then set a course of action to accomplish it.

I appreciate any of you praying as the Lord leads you.

May God bless each of us where we are as we pray for ourselves and others.

I struggle with chronic sickness and many times do not make it to church. When I do not attend church, I love to listen to sermons on-line or on tv, read my Bible, or pray.

If for some reason my whole family stays home (due to bad weather or multiple family sickness) we make up our own "family church service!" That is a lot of fun to have a church service at home with my family!

I am one of the intercessors at my church, so when I am unable to go, I miss it terribly!!!!!!!

Lewis, that sounds like a really special time with your wife!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!!

What do you do, when you get ready for church, but physically due to past illness you are not able to make it to church.

It happened to my wife and we found that was a good time time for us to share, what we had learned from God's word and pray together.

Sometimes we are so hurried, it is hard to find time together alone with our Lord Jesus. That time is needed.

Being thankful before the Lord is a great encouragement to all.
