Impacting Cities & Communities thru Prayer
A Community of Prayer Champions, Praying Churches, Prayed-for Communities
Apostolic epochs involve a breaking away, a new definition and a reorientation. They refocus kingdom purposes. The apostolic epoch that we are now entering is the fulfillment of the desire of Jesus, that his church be a house of prayer for all nations. This is the not the mere amplification of prayer as it is often perceived. It is not the addition of a missing prayer component, or prayer even as a bountiful additive, a power pack, to what we are currently doing. It is not the mere deepening or heightening of the value of prayer; it is a seismic apostolic shift. Through this assertive sovereign governance of God, He will intervene into history for missional purposes. It is my sincere belief that we are on the edge of such a moment again.
This book is a call to fervent missional prayer which may be the final hope for an institutional Church that has lost its way. Doug’s grasp of Church history, quotes from giants in the faith, and his statistical grasp of culture, make this book a mandatory read for all authentic disciples of our Lord.
Dr. Jeff Farmer, President, Pentecostal/Charismatic Churches of North America
A skillfully constructed masterpiece, this book combines history, scripture, testimonies, and a unique insight on prayer that will equip and encourage the Church to march forward on its knees.
Alton Garrison, Assistant General Superintendent, Assemblies of God
Pioneering in nature, this book challenges the Church to come in alignment with Heaven’s agenda again. Arrows of deliberating truth emerge from the pages to challenge the pulpit and the pews.

Comments from readers:
I found myself being brought to tears, to my knees, and to a place I have never been before! Words seem so inadequate to even begin to describe everything that the Holy Spirit has shared through Bishop Small. As he penned the words, “going to Church is not the goal, being the Church is the goal!” I cried out….Yes, this is it!!! Now we can begin to see the mission ahead of us! I challenge you to read, study, and allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you as you read this incredible book. The New Apostolic Epoch will stretch, empower, and enable you to be all you are destined to become. This book will give you tools to help you to complete your Kingdoms purpose! – Debra S.
This Manifesto is a true clarion call to the Body of Christ! It is sounding forth with a true Apostolic tone that resonates through both spirit and flesh. Dr. Small’s insights and nature are clear indications that this manifesto is Spirit birthed and Spirit breathed. Our resolve therefore should be, to be a people of humility and dedication to the very thing for which we have be called. It is the underlining theme of this work and carries with it the very heart of Father God. – Dallas E.
I have to say, this book is the most challenging I may have ever read! The challenge in reading this book is that line by line I have the need to stop and reflect then pray. I have the compelling unction that change is needed in every area of my life, that I need to reevaluate the depth and scope of understanding my prayer life which what I have been praying for! Purpose in prayer, sanctity of the language I use in prayer, and my relationship to Jesus as I seek His Will. – Diana S.
