A Community of Prayer Champions, Praying Churches, Prayed-for Communities

I call on You, my God, for You will answer me; turn Your ear to me and hear my prayer. — Psalm 17:6
Dear Phil,

The news and images out of Egypt today are devastating.

Coptic Christians on their way to a prayer meeting were ambushed aboard the bus and showered with gunfire. As of this writing, more than two dozen Christians have been killed. Children are among the dead.

Today was the first day of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. Christians in the region were already on high alert. Today’s attack will only deepen their concern.

The investigation is ongoing—the attack happened today—but Islamic extremists have been increasingly violent toward Christians in recent months.

Please join us in prayer for the church in Egypt.

In Christ,

About 100 wounded Christians are still in hospitals suffering pain, devastation and the uncertainty of the coming days. For them, the hope of staying alive for another day is indefinite due to their critical conditions.
