Join the Presidential Prayer Team in a prayer campaign for the first 100 days of President Trump's presidency.

Note:
The Presidential Prayer Team has changed the format of their daily briefings; this, together with the limitations on comments on "events" (as opposed to "discussions"), has made it increasingly difficult to replicate the daily prayer briefings here.
As a result, I'm going to move these prayer briefings to the discussion:
beginning today. For those who are following these briefings, please follow that discussion going forward.
Thanks for praying!
Andrew

Over the weekend, by executive order, President Trump added North Korea to the list of nations on travel ban from the United States. This does more than just ban flights, as it also bans ships, commercial or otherwise, from entering the US. This has drastic effects on trade for North Korea as it imposes sanctions on any outside government or company who does business or significant trade with North Korea.
Donald Trump proclaimed today, September 24th, Goldstar Mothers’ and Families’ Day in honor of those who paid the ultimate cost for the nation through the loss of their loved ones.
In a press statement, the president expressed how deeply the nation grieves with them, while also sharing the pride at the self-sacrifice of their sons and daughters.
Trump praised many Goldstar families for their community outreach as well as for how they provide support and help for those facing the same tragedy. Yet they can’t do it alone, for “it is our sacred duty to stand with these patriotic families to ensure they receive the care, compassion, and respect they have earned” Trump said.
He concluded the statement by adding, “I also encourage the American people to display the flag and hold appropriate ceremonies as a public expression of our Nation's gratitude and respect for our Gold Star Mothers and Families.”
For President Trump as he makes policies and decisions that have direct consequences for those serving in the armed forces.
For those whose lives have been devastated by the loss of a child in combat, that they would find healing and hope in the midst of it all.
For those providing support, that they would know how to help and how to encourage those suffering through the unimaginable pain.

President Trump announced his seventh round of nominees for United States Attorney. The candidates came from districts in Arkansas, Texas, Vermont, and Wisconsin. It is the job of the US Attorney to represent the federal government in any and all court cases within their given district.
Duane A. Kees was nominated for the Western District of Arkansas.
Erin Nealy Cox was nominated for the Northern District of Texas.
Christina E. Nolan was nominated for the District of Vermont.
Matthew D. Krueger was nominated for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.
For President Trump as he continues to search for skilled and qualified people to fill vital rolls in our government.
For the Senate, that they would have clarity and wisdom as they vet each of the nominees.
For each nominee that they would be humble, honest, and transparent as they navigate the confirmation process.

President Trump is in New York City today ahead of the 72nd session of the United Nations. This is the president’s first UN session and he will be meeting with more than 100 heads of state and governments.
One of the major issues to address will be the growing threat of conflict with North Korea. The president has made it clear that he wants a peaceful resolution, but is prepared for a military option if diplomatic efforts fail.

President Donald Trump in an early phone call with South Korea’s President Moon Jae-in this morning agreed to toughen sanctions against North Korea in a bid to curb the North's nuclear ambitions.
Both leaders "gravely condemned" the latest missile test on Friday, which came just days after United Nations Security Council announced a draft of new sanctions against North Korea.

Daily Prayer Briefing, September 16
In President Donald Trump's Weekly Address, he reminds us that this week, the United States celebrates the 230th Anniversary of the signing of our remarkable Constitution.
"The fifty-five Delegates to the Grand Convention in Philadelphia met from May to September of 1787. They gave us an incredible gift: a vision of the sovereign and self-governing people to control their own affairs. And they gave us a Constitutional system that protected our liberties by enshrining the Rule of Law."
"The Framers of our Constitution triumphantly declared to whom the government of the United States belonged: it was “WE THE PEOPLE.”
As the Lord leads, please pray for:
• President and his family as they spend time at their home in Bedminster, New Jersey.
• The ongoing healing, clean-up, rebuilding and restoration from many impacted by the hurricane storms. And, that power will be restored and gasoline become available to many parts of Florida.
• U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley and Defense Secretary Jim Mattis as they deal with the nuclear threat from North Korea.
• For the firefighters battling wildfire blazes in several western states.
